Chris Button

Director of Operations | Director of Box and Private Training

Grew up in upstate New York and attended Fairport High School. As a senior, Fairport finished #14 Nationally and lost in the NY State Championship game. Chris then attended Le Moyne College, in Syracuse, NY and was a 4 year member for the Dolphins lacrosse team. During his time there, he won 2 NE-10 conference championships and in 2013 won the Division II National championship. He finished his time there as a top 10 goal scorer in program history. Post graduation, Chris returned to his alma mater Fairport and helped coach them to the state championship game in 2014. Button moved to Boston, MA and was an assistant coach at Regis College as well as worked for 3d New England. He ran the Box program for 3d, and coached youth travel teams. After the Boston stint, Button moved to Chicagoland and started coaching at Benedictine University. He was the assistant coach for a year and then took over as head coach in 2019. During his 4 years at BenU, he won back-to-back conference championships and earned automatic bids to the NCAA tournament. He was named NACC coach of the year in 2021. He also coached the Offensive Player of the year and All-American in his last 2 seasons as head coach. Button is the all-time winningest coach in BenU history. Button finished his men’s college coaching journey at Concordia University of Chicago for the 2023-2024 season.
