Our Lakeshore Rec program provides an opportunity for new, beginner & intermediate level players to learn and develop lacrosse skills in a team setting. Teams practice during the week where they learn fundamental skills, rules, and team concepts and then play in a league with games on Sunday afternoons.

LAKESHORE REC WEST
Lakeshore Rec West offers 2 levels of teams [Orange & Blue] for players of different skill levels. We have practice locations in both Chicago & Oak Brook during the week. All teams play in a weekend league at Oak Brook Park District on Sunday afternoons!
Orange Level Teams:
LAKESHORE REC ORANGE | FOR THE TRUE BEGINNER & PLAYERS WITH MINIMAL EXPERIENCE
Orange teams will practice 1x per & play in a league on Sunday afternoons. There are NO tryouts for placement on our orange teams. 8U, 10U, 12U & 14U teams will be formed out of Chicago and Oak Brook. All league play games are held at Oak Brook Park District Fields on Sunday afternoons.

OAK BROOK • Tuesdays 6:00-7:30 PM
LEAGUE PLAY
ALL TEAMS • Sunday Afternoons *Games will occur between 12-5 PM @ Oak Brook Park District
All games are run following US Lacrosse Guidelines per age group: 8U/10U teams play 30 minute 7v7 games. 12U/14U Games are 44 minute, full field games.
League Dates: April 14, 21, 28 & May 5, 19

Blue Level Teams:
LAKESHORE REC BLUE | FOR THE INTERMEDIATE PLAYER LOOKING FOR COMPETITIVE REC PLAY
Blue teams will practice 2x per week on Tuesday & Thursday evenings & play in a league on Sunday afternoons. We hold tryouts for players interested in our blue teams. TRYOUTS WILL BE HELD IN MARCH! 10U, 12U & 14U teams will be formed out of Chicago & Oak Brook. All league play games are held at Oak Brook Park District Fields.

Lakeshore is excited to be partnering with Northbrook Park District for our Spring Rec season in order to provide an accessible option for our North families!
Lakeshore Rec North will offer 8U, 10U, 12U & 14U teams that will practice 1x per week & play in a house league on Sunday mornings!
