The Lakeshore Women’s Lacrosse Club (LWLC) is made
up of women living across the Chicagoland area who share a common
lifelong addiction…the sport of lacrosse. Members of the LWLC
are post-collegiate women from every level of the game: from club
teams to Division I varsity programs. The club was revived in recent
years and now competes in tournaments and play-days across the country.
Members can participate
in the club at whatever level their time or interest permits. Some
members play only in local or regional tournaments such as University
of Illinois play-days, while others commit to a higher level, playing
at national tournaments, like the Vail Shootout. Practices are typically
scheduled around upcoming events, and held at convenient times and
locations.
The LWLC consists of various successful
professionals, but these busy women carve out the time to enjoy
lacrosse throughout life. The club also organizes fun social events
and has bred many long-lasting friendships. We work hard, and we
play hard.
