2012 Recap!
The Lakeshore Lacrosse U-13 team recently attended the Girls Lacrosse Association of Michigan's (GLAM) Fall Fest in Brighton, MI; which is an annual 7 v7 tournament.  The Lakeshore U-13 Team, affectionately known as the Rhino Stampede, made their second successful appearance and came away with medals.  The Rhinos were split into two teams, Orange and Blue and were both placed into the 7th/8th grade division.  Playing above their age group, the Orange Team, coached by Sarah McKenna, placed 4th in the Gold Bracket.  The Orange Rhinos all played strongly and determined to win to their final moments of play.  Players whom led the group with outstanding performances include Jillian Daellenbach, Brooke Secola, Olivia Hemmer, and Stephanie Schnaufer.  Also playing above their age group, the Blue Team, coached by Nikki Kammer, placed 1st in the Silver Bracket.  The Blue Rhinos all played extremely well but exceptional performances were made by Mary Larson, Aly Worthem, Anna Kedjidjian, and Riley Dolan.  Bringing home medals from their win was surely a highlight.  Both teams celebrated, supported and cheered each other on to a victorious 2nd visit to the GLAM Fall Fest.  Way to go Rhinos!
