Why alumnae, not alumni, you ask?
The word "alumni" refers to either a group of males or a group of mixed genders.  When the group of people is composed entirely of women the correct declension in the plural is "alumnae," the word rhymes with "day."   If you are interested in playing in college and have questions on the process to get there, visit our NCAA Recruiting page.
